CHANGE CONNECTIONS - Our Open Innovation Website Is Launching!

Welcome to Change Connections, a space for collectively exchange, connect and collaborate for social good and to foster new thinking on groundbreaking social innovation!

Change Connections :: Presented by The Feast + Nokia from Change Connections on Vimeo.

I’m thrilled to announce & launch the open innovation website Change Connections as a part of the most interesting and inspiring project I’ve been working on the past few months!

Besides exploring the emerging trends in the world I’ve had the possibility to translate our knowledge and skills into action and put together a focused task force to map out the future possibilities for Nokia to play a role in creating socially based innovations and solutions that benefit wider society.

Early on, we realized that this is something we need to do collectively, connecting a wide range of people, knowledge and ideas to expand the possibilities to come up with systemic solutions to the world’s systemic problems. So we’ve partnered with The Feast social innovation conference & Lovely Day to this open-ended exploration with the broader social innovation community—to uncover new thinking, ideas, and solutions, as well as to share our findings to further expand the possibilities to drive positive change for the developing world in the years to come.

But this is just a beginning of a journey. A collaborative journey that can’t be done alone but only together. So please jump in and change connections: http://change-connections.com/

Below more info about the project (available also on the site):

Change Connections is part of a wider initiative to support Nokia’s potential to offer empowering solutions through new connections — between people, places, information and ideas — that improve the quality of lives, globally.

We’ve undertaken a series of conversations and events to find out where the future of communication technology could help billions of people around the world better their lives — from organizing for collective power, to accessing health care, or learning even when getting to school is not a possibility. Along the way, it’s become undeniable that this happens by building community. That’s why we’re connecting with you, here, now: to create a space for open ideation and change.

On the site you’ll find ideas from leading thinkers we’ve interviewed, background on some of the issues and opportunities at hand, links to our friends, and most importantly opportunities for you to connect to people, current work, new ideas and future possibilities in new and inspired ways. We’ve started a conversation and we’re asking you to join and to help shape the potential future of communication technology for good.
